Dave began his career in 1994 and spent his early years in private client services at Wachovia, Smith Barney and UBS (PaineWebber). In 2002, Dave co-founded Martin Investment Group (MIG), a predecessor company which merged with Summit Capital in 2006. He spent 10 years there as a partner until Summit Capital merged with Merriman Wealth Management in 2016. Dave led the strategic business development efforts in Merriman’s Spokane office, acting as a central point of contact in building social capital throughout his network of clients. Dave is honored to serve MB Generational Wealth’s clientele.
Dave received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Gonzaga University in 1994 and holds the Series 65 license.
Since 2011, Dave has been a board member of the Gleason Initiative Foundation, an organization that helps provide technology and adventures to individuals with muscular diseases and raises public awareness around ALS. Over 12 years ago he created the Steve Gleason Classic, a now annual golf tournament which has raised over $2 million for ALS.
Dave and his wife split their time between Spokane, Washington and the island of Oahu, Hawaii. They have two grown sons. Dave enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, electric foiling, and scuba diving.
